Astor Piazzolla - Bordel 1900

The „Histoire du Tango“ was put to the music for guitar and flute by the virtuoso bandoneon player, composer and orchestra leader Astor Piazzolla (1921-1992). From 1960 onwards Piazzolla was the outstanding figure in the Argentinian music. His attempts to renew the tango resulted in the „Tango nuevo“. "Concert d'aujourd'hui" belongs to this new type of tango.
