Robert Beaser - Mountain Songs: Hush you bye
Robert Beaser (*1954) composed the Mountain
Songs in 1985.
The quiet movement and the rise of the flute in the “Hush
you by” fantasia, at first appears to pick up and develop
the traits of “He’s gone away”. However, the events
densify by and by and a virtuosic culminating point is reached.
The following example is an mp3 that is coded with a 128Kdps transfer rate.
If you have broadband access (e.g. TDSL, modem cable) you will be able to listen to the file directly; otherwise you can download the file directly onto your local hard drive(PC: click on the link with the right mouse and choose the menu "Save as …"; MAC: click on the held CTRL- key, otherwise as PC).
